FAQ

Some questions that you might have regarding this features. For other questions, Feel free to ask in our support server.

Q.1. My giveaway didn't end. Why?

Note that ending time of giveaway can differ from 10 seconds to 1 minute. Wait at least 1 minute more from ending time. If it has been more then 1 minute, Use u!giveaway end <giveaway_id> command in giveaway channel to end the giveaway manually.

Q.2. I cannot create giveaways in my server?

Giveaways creation process is limited to:

• Server Admins (Members with ADMINISTRATOR permissions)

• Server Owner

• And users with giveaway manager role.

Ask an admin or server owner to create a giveaway manager role using u!giveaway setup command.

Q.3. Why is there only role requirement? Why not invite requirements and server requirements?

We respect Discord's ToS. As of 17th May 2021, Discord does not allow giveaway bots that advertise in such a way like invite users to participate in giveaways or join a specific server to participate.

Q.4. My giveaway duration is showing as invalid?

Giveaway duration can be set from 1 minute to 4 weeks. We don't allow giveaway duration to be more then 4 week or less then 1 minute.

Q.5 When using end/reroll command, it shows: "Cannot find that giveaway..."

Make sure to run this command in the same channel as the giveaway. Also make sure the giveaway ID is correct. Giveaway ID is the message ID of giveaway and can be gotten from footer of the giveaway message embed.
